Home/Services/Battery storage
Store energy for when you need it

Keep more of your energy with battery storage.

Store surplus solar generation for later, or use suitable off-peak tariffs to shift when you import electricity from the grid.

Solar generation

Solar powers the home first, then charges the battery with the surplus.

Why it matters

Your generation and your consumption rarely happen at the same moment.

A battery helps close that gap. Envirenew sizes storage around your consumption pattern, existing or planned solar array, available equipment space and the level of flexibility you want.

Scroll right to explore benefits
01

Use more of your solar

Store daytime surplus instead of exporting every unused unit immediately.

02

Shift grid consumption

With the right tariff and settings, a battery may charge when grid electricity is cheaper for use later.

03

See energy flows

Understand when the home is generating, consuming, storing and importing electricity.

04

Add flexibility

Create more control over when your property relies on the grid and how solar generation is used.

Designed, not just installed

The details that turn equipment into a working system.

We make the recommendation understandable, show what has shaped it and keep the delivery route visible from assessment through handover.

Helpful to know

Questions about battery storage.

A good decision starts with the limits and practical details as well as the benefits.

Can a battery be installed without solar panels?+

Potentially. A standalone battery can charge from the grid, subject to the property, tariff and equipment design. We assess whether that arrangement supports your goals.

How large should my battery be?+

Useful capacity depends on how much energy you use, when you use it, solar generation and whether you want tariff shifting or backup capability. Bigger is not automatically better.

Will every battery work in a power cut?+

No. Backup operation requires compatible equipment and a deliberately designed backup circuit or whole-property arrangement. It must be specified rather than assumed.

Can storage be added to existing solar?+

Often, but compatibility and the best AC- or DC-coupled approach vary. We review the inverter, metering, available space and existing documentation first.
